The UCAT (University Clinical Aptitude Test) is a crucial component of the medical and dental school admissions process.
What is the Average UCAT Score?
The average UCAT score tends to vary from year to year depending on the overall performance of test-takers. However, as a general guide, the average total score for the UCAT across all sections (Verbal Reasoning, Quantitative Reasoning, Abstract Reasoning, and Decision Making) is usually around 2,400 to 2,600.
Breaking Down the Average UCAT Score by Section
Each section of the UCAT is scored on a scale of 300 to 900, with the following approximate breakdown of average scores for each section:
Verbal Reasoning: Average score is typically around 580–600.
