Rule 1: The Verbal Reasoning cut-off (NON-NEGOTIABLE)
To be considered, you must achieve at or above the overall mean score on the UCAT Verbal Reasoning subtest across all test-takers in your cycle.
For 2026 entry, the Verbal Reasoning cut-off is 600 points (the published mean across all test-takers).
If your VR score is below 600, your application is automatically rejected – regardless of your overall UCAT total, your degree classification, or any other factor.
SJT bands are NOT considered by Warwick – this is unusual among UK medical schools.
