How do I register for UCAT 2025?
UCAT registration opens on 13 May 2025 at 9.30am. You will need to register by creating an UCAT account on the Pearson Vue registration system.
TOP TIP: Make sure you register BEFORE the 19 September booking deadline for 2026 dental or medical school entry.
How do I book my UCAT test?
You can book your UCAT test via your UCAT account, and the deadline to do this is 19 September. Once you’ve booked a test, you’ll get a confirmation email with important details about your booking. Make sure to keep this email safe.
Remember, you won’t be able to sit the UCAT in 2025 if you miss the booking deadline.
When should I book my UCAT test for?
The official advice is to book an early test date just in case you need to reschedule due to, for example, sickness.
Getting your UCAT test in early in the cycle means you can get it out of the way and spend more time over the summer on other important tasks, like work experience and personal statement writing.
Which UCAT test centre should I go to?
Your UCAT test will take place at a Pearson VUE test centre. You can choose which test centre to attend by using the Pearson VUE Test Centre Locator, but remember to register for the UCAT before doing this.
How do I reschedule my UCAT test if I can’t attend?
You will be able to reschedule your UCAT test if you can’t attend on your booking date, but there are strict rules around this, and you’ll need to give plenty of notice.
You can find out everything you need to know about rescheduling your UCAT test here.
I need extra time for the UCAT – what can I do?
If you have learning difficulties, disabilities and other medical conditions, then access arrangements can be made for you ahead of test day. Certain arrangements will need approval, so make sure to apply before the access arrangements deadline on 16 September at 12pm.
You can find out more about the types of access arrangements available here.
