About the Workshop:

The Medic Life Work Experience Workshop is designed to support aspiring medical and dental students who want real insight into what a career in medicine is truly like. This interactive event brings together doctors and dentists from a wide range of specialties to share authentic experiences from their day-to-day work, giving students meaningful examples they can draw upon for personal statements, interviews, and future applications.

Through talks, discussions, and reflections, students will gain a deeper understanding of:

• What working as a doctor/dentist actually involves

• The realities behind different medical/dental specialties

• The rewards and challenges of life in medicine/dentistry
